History

TREC Education is a charitable organization created to run the educational programs developed by the TREC Renewable Energy Co-operative. TREC began delivering environmental education programming in 2003 by offering public tours of its community owned wind turbine in downtown Toronto. Since then our educational activities have blossomed to a multi-faceted program offering curriculum-linked workshops to students, green career presentations, and community outreach initiatives to inform the public about renewable energy.
